International Day of Charity was declared in the 5th of September of each year, and the UN General Assembly announced the day in 2012.  The main objective of the International Day of Philanthropy is to raise awareness of philanthropy and provide a joint platform for charitable activities around the world to engage individuals and charitable, humanitarian and voluntary organizations to achieve their goals at the local, national, regional and international levels.
